Hello and a big warm welcome from the Parent Teacher and Friends Association (The Friends of Prestolee) to all our pupils, parents and friends of Prestolee School.

We would like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves and give you some information about what we do at The Friends of Prestolee.

The Friends of Prestolee is a very welcoming and friendly group of parents and teachers.  Our aim is to raise funds to assist the school in providing an enriched curriculum for our children and enhance their learning experiences. We rely solely on people volunteering their time and energy and are always grateful for any amount of help people can offer. We always welcome new ideas for fundraising events so if you have any ideas we’d love to hear them.  If you are new to the school it is a great way of meeting people and there is no pressure on anyone to be involved more than they are able to. If you are interested in joining us please speak to anyone on the team.

We thought we’d write a little note, from Prestolee PTFA
To fill you in on what we’ve done, while we had to hide away.
Though lockdown has been challenging, we have worked behind the scenes,
And wanted to share with you how busy we have been.
We provided little sweet bags for some Halloween Activity,
To keep the kids engaged with school and full of positivity.
After raising funds for Christmas gifts, we embraced another mission
Buying prizes for our Easter Egg designing Competition.
We would love the children to enjoy a Prestolee Halloween Disco
We’d like to do a sponsored walk, run, raffles, and play bingo.
So, as we look to plan ahead for more fun and celebrations
We’re asking, please for your support, and any kind donations. 

Events

We’ve got lots of ideas for when restrictions allow, including; Halloween Discos, Movie Nights, Bingo Nights, Raffles and a Sponsored Walk.
