The Friends of Prestolee is a very welcoming and friendly group of parents and teachers.  Our aim is to raise funds to assist the school in providing an enriched curriculum for our children and enhance their learning experiences. We rely solely on people volunteering their time and energy and are always grateful for any amount of help people can offer. We always welcome new ideas for fundraising events so if you have any ideas we’d love to hear them.  If you are new to the school it is a great way of meeting people and there is no pressure on anyone to be involved more than they are able to.

Achievements

We have had an exciting year so far, with some new events such as a Prestolee Christmas Markets, Movie Nights, book sales all of which have raised some very impressive profits. Due to the success of these events and the amazing support of the all the children and parents we have reached a massive goal and have been able to make our biggest purchase to date 15 new learning tablets! These will be used in classes to enhance children’s learning by engaging, enthusing and inspiring the children at our school to achieve greater things. Technology has become an integral part of learning and teaching. It’s another tool that children can access to support their learning and enhance our curriculum.

We are all looking forward to the start of another fantastic fundraising year in 2017, which wouldn’t be possible without your continued support, thank you.

From all of the members of The Friends of Prestolee.
